In this rom-traum-com workshop, Leanne will helps writers move from breakups to meet-cutes to meant-to-be’s, working towards a happily ever after everyone will be rooting for. By building strong character development, you’ll plant the seeds for a love story you can grow far beyond the workshop itself.
The Shape of You: Hermit Crab Essays
Hermit crab essays tell a personal story through the guiding structure of an established shape – whether it’s a family recipe, obituary, playlist or diagnostic test. In this hermit crab workshop, Leanne walks writers through three prompts designed to provide protective space to begin the writing process and reimagine the cultural expectations of each shape.

There are tons of cards to celebrate, but sometimes it’s even more important to find the right words to offer support. In this collage workshop, Leanne helps participants craft healing mental health greeting cards informed by our own experiences giving and receiving support during challenging times.
